Couldn't do that though, with relay coming so soon. Thanks to Sabine I could see pictures of our events while I was away, including the beautiful RenFaire organized by Rita Mariner. Merci Rita!
Now on to the present! We had a fabulous weekend with two major events.
On Friday Kendal Timeless arranged a wonderful 3 hour John Prine Tribute Show benefiting RFL via our team -- well you know who we are ;)
On Saturday Cancer Piers arranged for a number of wonderful live performers to entertain and help us raise funds to to fund cancer research. The performers were, give or take a crash or two: 1pm Bara Jonson, 2pm NEwbawn Easterwood, 3pm Quinton Whitman, 4pm Shannon Oherlihy, 5pm Nick Northman, 6pm DW Swashbuckler and 7pm Nate Easterwood
During one of the performer crashes a bunch of us got up on the stage with guitars -- including our "Kitty for a Week," Daaneth Kivioq!
Thanks so very much to Kendal, Cancer and their helpers for superb holiday weekend events!
I'm missing all the fun too. Don't have desktop set up, new baby in house, engagement party = chaos at the moment. Hope to see you all soon.
